Hi,

Generally menstrual cycles between 21 to 35 days can be considered as normal. Minor fluctuations in the dates can be seen. According to your history you are having around 27 to 30 days menstrual cycles, these can be considered as normal usually.

Brown and dark red color usually indicates collected blood in the uterine cavity, that may not signify any major problem. Some amount of clots can be seen during menstruation. If these are heavy and continuous you need treatment.

Regarding infertility, please consult Gynecologist along with your husband. You need clinical examination and investigations like hemoglobin, blood sugar levels, thyroid profile, ultrasound and hysterosalpingogram etc and your husband need semen analysis.

With this workup the possible cause of your infertility can be identified and treatment can be taken accordingly.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sree Gouri S. R., OBGYN
