I am 26 years old and not married yet. i have irregular periods, i get periods 2 and half months once. if i get periods then it wont stop for 10-15 days. I did so many tests everything came normal, this prblm is there frm the time i got my first periods. My weight is 52kgs and height is 5.3. Please let me know is it fine if this is like this. or what can i opt for.
Hello dear Understand your concern Following are the causes of irregular bleeding. Dysfunctional uterine bleeding due to hormonal imbalance Ovarian cyst/PCOS Endometrial dysplasia/cancer, endometriosis, adenomyosis/fibroid Any blood disorder, thyroid disorder. I advice you to consult the gynecologist and go for following investigations: Reproductive hormone and thyroid hormone analysis, USG scan, Ovarian follicle study, endometrial biopsy, Blood coagulation profile Doctor will give specific treatment according to cause. Oral contraceptive pill or progesterone will be used to regularize the period and decrease the amount and duration of bleeding. Tranexamic acid can be used while during period to decrease the amount of bleeding. Take healthy diet with iron, vitamin E, C supplements. Hope this may help you
