Good Morning Doctor,.I am 42 years old. My height is 5 ft 6 inch. My weight is ~ 62 kg. Doctor, from last couple of months , i,m having periods twice a month. Earlier the cycle was very normal and never faced any irregularilty in my cycle. I'am not not any kind of medication. Pls. advise. I'm worried for this irregularity.Thank you
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern... As you are 42 year old, you should know that irregular periods be first sign of approaching menopause. Menopause is the period in a woman's life (typically between the ages of 40 and 50) when menstruation ceases.
Here are other common causes of irregular periods: 1 Excessive weight gain or weight loss 2 Stress or emotional problems 3 Hormonal problems 4 Over-exercising 5 Problems with the pelvic organs such as polycystic ovarian syndrome 6 Eating disorders If problem persists, you should visit a Gynaecologist
Don't worry you would be fine Hoping your query is solved.
