What Causes Irregular Periods While On Contraceptive Pills?

hi can you please advise the following. i am taken oral contraceptive. however for tje last 4 to five months . my periods have become irregular coming early, late and sometimes bleeding when i am back on the pill. at the monent i am in the middle of my pack and i know have bleeding and pressure in my lower tummu can you advise . i am also feeling tired and just run down

Hi, I think you can take some medicines like tranexamic acid to stop the bleeding. Periods are generally regular while on oral contraceptive pill. So, I think you should go for evaluation by a gynecologist. It can happen due to some cervical pathology or vaginal infection. Better to get it diagnosed. Hope it helps.
