What Causes Irregular Periods Despite Taking Nuristerate?

Hello I was on nuristerate in 2013 had two shots then stopped. In 2015 May i got a shot but never returned after 8wks due to irregular cycle. From July i had menstrual cycles like 30 day, Aug27, Sept27, Oct29, Nov 30, Dec 33day cycles bt before May shot i had cycles ranging between 29 and 34. Could this mean my circles have not returned to their normal? I desperatly need a baby and have been tryinh without success. T I tried ovulation predictors but all came out negative. During the first five months after nuristarate i usually had breast sensitivity before periods but last month that was not felt.Thank you in advance Kind regard Grace

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Good day and thanks for asking us to advice you. Hormonal contraceptives usually works by distrupting the hormones necessary for getting pregnant. I will suggest you see your doctor and do a hormone profile test checking for your estrogen, progesterone, prolactin and TSH level. I hope this helps. thank you.
