Hello dear Understand your concern Irregular period in the PCOS due to the hormonal imbalance, absence of ovulation and insulin resistance. I advice you to consul the gynecologist and undergo reproductive hormone analysis, USG scan and ovarian follicle study for better management. Doctor will provide Oral contraceptive pill, metformin and clomiphene citrate to induce the ovualtion and regularize the period. You should to take preoper treatment for 4-6 month under the advice of gynecologist. If medical treatment will not help, then surgery like ovarian dreeling can be done. Reduce 8-10 % body weight if you are overweight. Avoid stress, excessive sweets. Take fresh fruits, healthy diet and plenty of water. Hope this may help you
