What Causes Irregular Periods, Chronic Abdominal Pain And Headaches?

I have been having stomach pain for a few years now lower stomach. I was told I had PID, my uterus and thyroids were in large and I had a cyst on both ovaries. I get BV every other week. My period are extremely off, I bleed up to 3 months at a time with blood clots the size of real live golf balls. I m on the birth control nexplanon for 4 years now and was put on birth control pills to try to regulate my period which isn t happening. My stomach pains have gotten so unbearable to the point I can t sleep on my back or stomach without waking up with contraction like pain. I haven t been able to stretch in about 2 years without it feeling like something is ripping in my lower abdomen. Lately I have been urinating quite frequently. I have a 7 year old son I can t truly hug due to the excruciating pain. I have started to get these head ache where its only hurt at my temple on both sides and it s starting to affect my vision. Just to put this out there, Ovarian cancer runs in my mom s side of the family. My Grandma 2 great aunt s 1 aunt and my mom are all survivers. I NEED HELP PLEASE.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Your problem seems to be due to hormonal imbalance caused by ovarian cysts, control & proper treatment of the cyst after investigations & expert advise. Side-by-side investigations & treatment for your thyroid problem is also needful. You should get periodic tumor marker test done to exclude/ find possible cancer (due to heredity predisposition).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
