What Causes Irregular Periods Along With Abdominal Bloating And Pelvic Pain?

I had a colposcopy and loop treatment at 21 and now at 44 am breastfeeding my 7 month old 5 th child. I have had bleeding twice in one month and one very heavy and clots. I am experiencing pain in my tummy, bloating and pelvic pain on the right...is it back? Was CIN 1 before

Hi,

Based on the history you have shared, as feeding mother pregnancy is least likely, however infective etiology or any remnants of last pregnancy may come out as clots but also least likely as retained products can cause severe infection and would not have remained symptoms free till now.

Due to age related hormonal imbalance or pre-menopausal symptomology it is possible that irregular cycle with clots and pain may present like this and should be evaluated on ultrasound pelvis and gynecologist review for any other pathology. Meanwhile OTC analgesic like acetaminophen or ibuprofen alongside anti spasmodic like drotaverine can be used.
