What Causes Irregular Periods After Taking Regestrone Sandoz?

Doctor advised to have regestrone sandoz 5 mg tablet for 5 days, since my menstural cycle is irregular. During the medication is it advisable to have intercourse? what are the side effects of this tablet? Is it that during the medication, we do not get our mensturation and only after we stop the regestrone tablet corse, we get periods?

Yes,its true that you will receive the period only after you stop the tablet.

You can do sexual intercourse while on treatment. It will not affect any of your sex life in any way.

It usually do not have any side effects except some gastrointestinal upsets and mood swings. Overall it's safe drugs.

Taking this tablet for three months can regularise the period.
