What Causes Irregular Period, Back Pain, Stomach Pain And Prolonged Headache?
I m having constant headaches for 9 months now and I ve noticed for the last 4 to 5 months my period is getting irregular and I could get 2 in a month.i was also bleeding for 3weeks and I m getting a lot of back and stomach pain as well and I m very moody aswell with sweats thank you for your help. Deb.
Hi Deb, Welcome to HCM Based on your symptoms, I stongly doubt that maybe you are experiencing hormone disbalance due to your headache that persists and irregular periods , but I think that you should check your thyroid too (excessive sweating) I don't know what's your age , but if you are a middle aged woman maybe you are experiencing perimenopause or menopause because hormone imbalances are often associated with these or you might have thyroid disorders, menstrual irregularities, insulin resistance/blood sugar imbalances, adrenal insufficiency. I want you also to know that: the reproductive organs rely upon the proper stimulation from the thyroid gland in order to maintain a proper estrogen/ progesterone balance and fertility.
So, i suggest you to contact an endocrinologist and to test your hormones via saliva testing or by blood serum levels. check your thyroid hormones balances too.
Hope this is helpful to you Dr. Ermira Biu
