What Causes Irregular Menstruation?

on july 31-aug.4 I had my period, on the first 2 days it was heavy/ medium flow. on the last 3 days, I had no period. me and my husband started having sex again starting with the 4th day and so on. now today is day 23 and I only had pinkish spotting and that is all. on yesterday I had a pinkish spot just on my tissue. for the past weeks I have not been feeling yself. my period is irregular coming on days 21 and 23. today is day 23. any answers?

Hi welcome to health care magic....

If after 28 days of cycle period doesn't come than pregnancy shouod be ruled out...

Here for irregular menstruation your work up needed with physical and pelvic examination first. ..

Perspeculum examination also done and if needed pap smear or endometrial sampling can be done. ..

USG will be useful for diagnosing ovarian problem and fibroid if present...

According to cause further treatment can be guided...

Hormonal profile also done for rule out hormonal imbalance and if needed hormonal pill can be prescribed...
