Whenever you have birth control implant or also on birth control pills, you are bound to experience some side effects.
Most of the birth control implant releases a hormone — progestin.
Most women can use the birth control implant safely. Some women may have undesirable side effects while using the birth control implant, like you are experiencing.
These include: change in sex drive, discoloring or scarring of the skin over the implant, headache,
nausea, pain at the insertion site, sore breasts weight gain and menstrual irregularities.
But many women adjust to it with few or no problems. If such problems persist and is causing discomfort, you can approach your doctor for further management.
