What Causes Irregular Menstruation Cycle?

I haven t had my period all month I thought it wouldn t come after having sex earlier this month on May 8th now my period just came today may 31st what could this mean. then I had sex again on May 26.. is it possibility of pregnancy if not then why is my period irregular

on 31st may you got period means you are not pregnant. at any time without using protection there are only 8% chances that you get pregnant. and sexual intercourse should correspond the ovulation then only your egg will fertilize and will get implanted. your egg is just viable for 24 hrs. male sperm is viable for 48 hrs. when both the period matches you get pregnant. on a random day when you have sex it is not necessary that you get pregnant.periods can be irregular due to stress, physiological mostly and pathological rarely.
