What Causes Irregular Menstruation And Sharp Abdominal Pain?

Hi, Ive been having sharp pains in my abdominal area. They are mostly light and feel more like a burning. These pains are amplified when I hold in urine and I ve noticed that when i do urinate i feel the pain a bit when i finish. Ive also had an irregular period recently where it would stop and go. What do you think can be the issue?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If you are having discomfort on any aspect of urination and abdominal pain then it is possible that you may have a urinary tract infection.

This can involve any aspect of the urinary tract- the kidneys, ureter, bladder or urethra.

You may want to consider seeing your doctor for an assessment which would include urine analysis and abdominal examination.

I hope this helps
