What Causes Irregular Heartbeat And Sharp Chest Pain?
For over a year now I have been having occassional fast irregular heartbeats then my bp is always normal and heaviness and so much discomfort.from my throat to my right breast.once a month I feel sharp chest pain just before my right nipple.the discomfort or pain sometimes get to my rightback side.it feels like something is stuck in my throat.and as if I get a little relief when i let out burp or bubbles from my mouth.i have done chest xray eco and ecg and even mamogram which says its a normal result by the grace of God
Irregular heart beats, occasional chest pain, feeling of discomfort in throat can be due to disorder of cardiovascular system or can be due to regurgitation. I suggest you to consult a cardiologist for clinical assessment of cardiovascular system. In addition, I suggest you to consult a gastroenterologist for clinical assessment and upper GI endoscopy to look for any evidence of regurgitation.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
