What Causes Irregular Heart Fluttering And Chest Discomfort?
I had surgery about a month aga and intermittenly since then i am getting repeat incidences of sudden throbbing chest sensation and kind of irregular heart fluttering, along with pain when inhaling and/or bending over in my central chest, throat and head. It started about a week after surgery and was very painful but now it seems more of a sore ache. Would it be a lung embolism?

There are less possibilities for lung embolism. Most likely its due to rhythm problems of heart, which is often seen after surgery and other stress. I would advice you to attend your primary physician, and consult a cardiologist earliest, inorder to rule out severe form of troubles.
