What Causes Irregular Heart Beat Readings When I Use Left Arm?
On one of my blood pressure monitors I am getting an irregular heartbeat icon when I use my left arm. The same blood pressure monitor does not show the irregular heartbeat icon when using my right arm. Another blood pressure monitor does not show the irregular heartbeat icon on either arm. Both monitors are used within 5 minutes of each other. Any thoughts?

Thank you for your question. These are called ectopic beats which may come due to many reasons.
1. Conduction system of the heart for sino atrial node.
2. Lack of blood to the heart muscle during activity early myocardial infarction.
3. Myocarditis in case there is pain on the left side of the chest.
