What Causes Irregular Bowel Movements, Constipation And Diarrhea?

I have been experiencing various types of bowel movements for quite some time. These episodes range from constipation to diarrhea, often in the same movement. These appear to occur more frequently when I eat lots of salads, nuts and the foods I need to eat to reduce my blood sugar levels. Could these symptoms be signs of gall bladder disease?

Hello,

The possible causes may be due to Irritable bowel syndrome or food Intolerance or gluten intolerance or inflammatory bowel problems or infection etcetera. Until examination and investigations done, it is difficult to say what it is.

Avoid spicy food, alcohol, smoking and caffeine drinks. Use probiotic tablet twice a day for five days. Also, use tablet Normaxin twice a day for five days.

If symptoms not improved, then please consult your doctor so that he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
