What Causes Irregular And Heavy Flow During Periods?
I am 49 years old. I am currently on vacation in the US. I was getting irregular periods for the past 7-8 months with heavy flow. My last period lasted 9-10 days and 5 days later they have started again with heavy flow and blood cloths. Kindly advice on how to proceed and what medication to take to cease the bleeding.

I really appreciate your concern, looking to your age it could be menopause if this is true then no need to worry about this because it could likely to happen but care need to be taken for prolonged bleeding, as long as the medicine are concern it has to be taken after clinical examination only, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
