What Causes Intermittent Stomach Pain And Dry Cough?

I have been having stomach pains on and off for half a year now very bad pains like my stomach is being pulled out. I cough frequently dry cough and the pain keeps me up all night long. I was scoped in September 2015 and had my esophagus stretched about an inch. The pain is coming more frequently now almost every night. I eat healthy and workout five days a week.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of intermittent stomach pain and dry cough which seems to be due to chest infection/ chronic upper respiratory tract infection. I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles. You should take cough expectorants. You should take muscle relaxant as well and take food in small and frequent intervals rather taking it in large amount at a time. You should take antibiotic Levofloxacin in combination with antiallergic medication. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should get chest X-ray done and start treatment after proper diagnosis have been made. Avoid oily and sharp food. Drink plenty of fluids.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
