What Causes Intermittent Pain During Intercourse?

about 8 months ago i was having severe abdo pain that would wake me from sleeping early hours in the morning, I had a full screen for std/sti's and all were negative, scans to detect ovarian cycts were NAD, months on I have had bleeding between cycles whilst on my contraceptive pill (of 7years), the pain is a dull ache more constantly there than not, and occasional sharp severe pains intermittently, pain during intercourse is a new symptom, this is an internal pain that makes me cry or feel sick, and a more offensive discharge, I am sure this is all connected and this affecting me a great deal now

Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood the concern. I would ask for a total abdominal sonogram to know the status of the liver and kidneys also. As you are on oral contraceptive pills for so long, it is essential that you get periodic monitoring. The recent onset of post coital pain along with offensive vaginal discharge suggests infection. You need to have a vaginal swab, cervical swab, pap smear and urinalysis to exclude vaginoses, cervicitis, urinary infection and a trans-vaginal sonogram to exclude pelvic inflammation. Please maintain proper genital hygiene. Do not use douches, strong soap solutions or tampons. Please get further help from your health care provider. Take care.
