What Causes Intermittent Headache And Hearing Unusual Noise In The Ear?

Hi, I ve been having this constant whirling sound in my right ear. In addition i ve been having random headaches that feel like they re inside my head. Not the normal headache form sinus pressure or like the ones your get from a toothache. Today I felt light headed and off balance. No headache but the whirling sound in my ear, not the ringing sound. it sounds like the whirling similar to an ultra sound. Have your heard of anthing like this before?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of intermittent headache and hearing unusual noise in the ear which seems to be due to ear infection , meniere's disease and it could be acoustic neuroma.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination and doctor may examine with otoscope and order CT scan and and balancing test and may prescribe antibiotics and anti inflammatory medications. You should take proper rest and avoid pricking ear. You should avoid bending forward. Avoid excessive use of mobile phone.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
