Hello,

I can understand your concern. As you and your partner do not use contraception, there are chances of your being pregnant. The bleeding you noticed 12 days after your last menstrual cycle could be implantation bleeding, bleeding which occurs after conceiving.

To make sure if you are pregnant or not, you should take a home pregnancy test. Purchase the kit (Prega news) from the medical store and urinate on the indicator area of the stick. The indicator area may show (+) or (-) sign for postive or negative pregnancy test, respectively.

If you are not pregnant and keep getting irregular periods then you might have to visit a gynecologist for physical examination and further investigations regarding the cause of irregularities and its management.

I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. Take care.

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
