What Causes Inter Menstrual Bleeding?

Hello. I am having bleeding in between periods when I urinate multiple times a month. I also bleed during intercourse. I have an IUD and am on medications for Fibromyalgia and Rheumatoid arthritis. Should I make an appointment with my OBGYN or is this just a side effect?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Thanks for query on HCM

"As"per your clinical history is concerned please follow like this -

1)Do a clinical examination by your treating Doctor[Gyn] and do one USG to ruled out any pathological disorder.

2)Do take prescribed medications as per test report only

Do follow few preventive steps like this -

1)Do take warm baths and a heating pad can help relax pelvic muscles, reducing cramping and pain.

2)Over-the-counter non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), such as ibuprofen can help ease painful menstrual cramps.

3)Getting regular exercise may help improve symptoms.

Hope that helps
