What Causes Inter Menstrual Bleeding And Breast Pain?
hi, I had my periods on Aug 24th and it was normal. My cycle is usually 31-21 days. Again I had periods on Sep18th. But it was not like regular one. It was brown discharge for 4 days with less stomach pain that usual. Usually my periods start with brown and become red in 2-3 hrs. I thought may be it was just a light period. But for the last 1 week my breast is paining and I m having white vaginal discharge. I took a home pregnancy test on Oct 1 and it came negative (took walgreens preg test). I m on TTC, so I really don t want to check again and get disappointed every time I see a negative. Was just wondering if it was just a light period or is there a chance that I could be preg ?

It is actually possible that you could be pregnant, since the bleeding in September seems to be quite light and might be an implantation bleed. This, combined with the sore breasts, makes it quite likely that there are hormonal changes that signal an early pregnancy.
Having said that, the first few weeks of pregnancy are always risky because miscarriages often happen in the earliest weeks. So to avoid disappointment, I would wait for the next cycle, and if your periods still don't come as usual, then you can do the urine pregnancy test. In the meantime, take folic acid supplementation, eat well, and don't smoke or drink.
