What Causes Intense Hunger Pain After Sometime Of Eating?
HI THERE, I'M A 23 YEAR OLD FEMALE WHO GOES TO SLEEP EVERY NIGHT & WAKES UP WITH HUNGER PAINS, EVEN AFTER I EAT I'M STILL HUNGRY OR GET HUNGRY NO LESS THEN HOUR AFTER EATING. THE HUNGER PAINS IN THE MORNING MAKE ME FEEL SICK, ITS THE MOST INTENSE IN THE MORNING?
Hunger pain waking up you in the night is indicative of severe acidity that cause gastritis and/or esophagitis or duodenitis and may be a pre-existing ulceration.
Hence I would advise you the following in such a condition: -Consult a Gastroenterologist for clinical evaluation. -Upper GI Endoscopy. -Ph studies of stomach. -Tests of stool and blood. -Get started on a PPI like Omeprazole. -Antacids when on empty stomach. -Domperidone. -Soft bland diet. -Control of stress and anxiety.
All these will help you get better very soon. Avoid all the instigating factors.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. T Chandrakant
