What Causes Inflammation On The Face?

Hi - I am a 37 year old male. For the past past month and a half, I have had an increasingly red facial complexion. My face has been very warm to the touch as well. Last week, I developed what seemed like a rash or a sudden breakout of acne. I treated it with a basic acne medication. The rash is mostly gone, but my face is still very red and warm.

Hello,

A red and warm complexity may be due to:
1. Acne rosacea
2. Drugs
3. Hyperthyroidism
4. Malar rash
5. Sun burn
6. Carcinoid syndrome et cetera

Until examination is done, it is difficult to say what it is. Please consult your Dermatologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
