General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to a bacterial infection. I suggest you give your child anti-inflammatory medications for the pain such as Ibuprofen syrup.

You can also use ear drops for relief. Antibiotics may be needed, you should consult your paediatrician about this medication.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
