Hi, my father complains of arm discomfort, and abdominal discomfort as though caused by indigestion or excessive acid in his stomach. Could this be a sign of angina? Knowing he is stressed for couple of weeks now, mentally and physically.

Hello,

Abdominal discomfort may be due to acute gastritis or peptic ulcer disease or infections or irritable bowel syndrome etcetera. If the pain in the chest may be due to a cardiac problem or gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Use tablet Nexium before breakfast for one week. If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
