What Causes Indents At The Top Of Head?

Hi i have noticed some small indents at the top of my head, i do not usually suffer from headaches but have today and sometimes these indents can disappear and come back again. Right now, I can count around three. I do not have any other medical conditions that I know of, but a family member has been recently disgnosed with various brain tumours. Is this something that would need checked out?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi.
As per your case history of indents on forehead, my treatment advice is -
1. Don't worry, it is not related to brain tumors.
2. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
3. Apply a clindamycin gel like Glocin twice daily on it.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, vitamin supplements taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
Dr. Harshit bhachech.
