Hi,

If you don't have an appropriate gap between your femur and your tibia, you're experiencing osteoarthritis. There are several treatments that go from physiotherapy, nutraceuticals and NSAIDs, to surgery. Request an appointment with an orthopaedic surgeon.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Gonzalo Escobar, Orthopedic Surgeon
