What Causes Increased Blood Pressure And Headache?
my blood pressure was 145/94 and pulse 90 this morning. I have had a headache for a few days. My blood pressure was taken a few months ago and it was 130/90 because of my family history she had me come back and recheck it and it was 134/90. I have to go back in a couple of weeks for another check should I be concerned that it has gone up? I have been having headaches and been very tired lately.
Hello there I have read through your question and would like to tell you that headache can be attributed to a high blood pressure. I would advise you to get your blood pressure monitored for one week and if it continues to be above 130/90 you should consult your physician for a complete blood work up and start an antihypertensive. If hypertension is ruled out, we may have to look for neurological causes like tension headache or migraine. I hope that answers your question. If you have any further questions please feel free to write. Thank you for choosing healthcare magic.
