Internal Medicine Specialist, Dr. Ivo Ditah's Response
HI and thanks for this query.
I am so sorry to hear of this continuous weight gain despite your best efforts to get it controlled. Please, weight gain in mainly determined by the amount of calories you consume daily. If you get to eat more than the amount you spend working, exercising, etc daily, you would for sure put on weight. Healthy meals can still be too rich in calories and drive this weight up. I will like you to count the calories you take in daily and you would be surprised at how much excesses you accumulate daily.
I hope this helps AND I WISH YOU WELL.
