Hi,

Idiopathic edema is a term used when you have no obvious cause found for edema. Here, you have abnormal liver tests, meaning you have some kind of hepatic involvement, which could in turn cause edema. First, you need serum albumen levels, low levels which are seen in liver diseases, can cause edema of feet. Get yourself thoroughly evaluated with other tests like 2D echo, thyroid, urine albumen etc. Treating the cause can resolve your problem. All the best.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vaddadi Suresh
