What Causes Hypothyroidism?

hi doctor, i am having thyrox-25 for hypothyrod but why it happens and why its not cureable. why need to have whole life. i have read so many article and it describes a lot like thyrox hormone not functioning properly. why it causes some people body not everyone. what s wrong in me that it happen i want to know. I am getting over weight that i am not having that much of food quantity. Anti TPO(SERUM)- 62.5 IU/ML TT3- 153.76 NG/DL FT3- 3.01 PG/ML TT4- 9.3 UG/DL FT4- 1.42 NG/DL TSH- 7.21 uIU/ML Please suggest me.

I really appreciate your concern, Thyroid dysfunction is endocrine disease and genetically constituted so why it is not happens to everyone, but this is not true in all the cases some time reason may be different rather than genetic, hope this information helps, take care.
