Regarding your concern, I would explain that cardiopulmonary embolism and deep vein thrombosis are not related to congenital heart disease and hypertensive heart.
But both these disorders can complicate the situation. It depends on the type of congenital heart disease you have.
An abnormal communication like patent foramen ovale, could be a risk factor in this situation for paradoxical thromboembolism to the brain and other organs.
In such case this congenital defect should be treated by a surgeon.
Regarding hypertensive heart disease, it is important a better control of high blood pressure in order to stop the progression of this disease.
You should discuss with your cardiologist on the above issues.
