What Causes Hoarse Voice When Diagnosed With Bronchitis Infection?

It started with Bronchitis over a month ago, then I lost my voice. It has gotten a little better after four trips to the doctor, two rounds of antibiotics, 3 steroid shots and, and two rounds prednisone 6 day packs, but I am still horse. This all started the last week in March. What could this be?

Thanks for your question on Health care magic.
I can understand your concern.
Hoarseness of voice in bronchitis patient suggest infection and inflammation of larynx. So better to consult ENT doctor and get done indirect laryngoscopy to rule out laryngeal pathology.
You may need antihistamines and anti inflammatory drugs. You should also do warm water gargles 5-6 times a day to reduce laryngeal inflammation.
Hope I have solved your query.
I will be happy to help you further.
Wish you good health.
Thanks.
