i have bladder infections often. I can t usually empty my bladder completely, so it takes me a few trips to the toilet to empty. This infection feels different. There is pressure at the base of the urethra all the time, no pain when I pee, just a great deal of pressure. What is the cause????

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

There are wide range of symptoms that can occur with urinary tract infections and person may not experience the same symptoms each time.
The sensation that you are having can occur in some cases of urinary tract infections.

The infection would need to be confirmed by a doctor visit. This would include in office urine analysis and urine may be sent to a lab.

I hope this helps
