General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
I understand your concern.
High fever in child can be due to any infection(mostly gastrointestinal /respiratory) in the body.

As of now,if I were your treating doctor,I recommend
-to antipyretic like syp.meftal p/ibugesic ,half teaspoon with a gap of 6-8 hours till fever subsides.
-Keep on with breastfeeding.
-Keep an eye on signs like seizures, inability to drink milk, vomiting ,diarrhea in which case you will have to report immediately in emergency section.

-Do follow up of fever with paediatrician for clinical examination.
Hope I answered your query.
Wish the child speedy recovery.
Thanks
