What Causes High Fever And Vomiting In Child?

My child has been evaluated by several physicians and no answer... He is 7 ,started with high fever and vomiting. Was hospitalized several times within 3 weeks for dehydration from vomiting. All tests and labs have been normal with exception of elevated sed rate. He now has joint pain in various areas, continues to have weight loss. Any ideas?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello

your child might be having malabsoption disorder or an inflammatory bowel disease and a autoimmune disorder

in my opinion you should take your child to a gastroenterologist for examination and investigation like colonoscopy

I would advise you for probiotics and multivitamin supplements with plenty of fluids including ORS to correct electrolyte imbalances

hope you will find my response helpful and informative
please don't hesitate to ask for further clarification
good luck
