What Causes High Fever And Strep Throat For Child?
I have a 3 year old son who is 34 lbs and 3 ft tall. He had a fever of 103 last sat. And continued a fever for 3 days. I took him to the pediatricians office Monday and he had strep throat. They gave him antibiotics. We have been doing antibiotics exactly like we are suppose to and then tonight he has a fever of 102. What could be wrong?

It takes 24 to 48 hours for the fever to reduce after starting antibiotics.
Continue giving antibiotic, also give paracetamol at dosage of 15 mg/kg/dose 6th hourly.
Ensure good intake of fluids and nutrition.
