What Causes High RNP Antibodies And IGG Levels?

Well my rhematologist, nurse called me with my results and said that the Dr. needed to speak to me but the next available appt. is until 3 weeks, anyways she said my blood work showed a high level of rnp anti-bodies they were a 1.1 and something about my igg levels aswell. What would be the most known diagnoses that the Dr. will give me.

Hi
Thanks for choosing HCM for your query.
Normal ribonucleoprotein antibody level: Therefore a value of 1.1 is positive for high level.
A positive result for RNP antibodies is consistent with the diagnosis of mixed connective tissue disease.
Normal range of IgG for adults:     994 (639–1,349)
Value more than 1, 350 are considered to be high and positive.
High IgG levels are also increased in patients with mixed connective tissue disease.

You are advised to kindly consult your doc for clinical correlation and treatment.

Hope your doubt has been clarified.
Do reply if convinced.
