What Causes High MPV And Low Platelet Count?

I have my MPV high 12.7 norm between 9.4-12.5 Platelets 197 thou/uL norm between 150-450 And everything else normal , I don t take sup or medicines Olso I ever had any health issue . I eat balanced (trying) My question what s my diet is missing or what should I avoid eating and is it normal Doctor thank you ! MYAH ,CT

After going through your question, I can understand your concern.

I want to for what symptoms have undergone blood test.

MPV (Mean Platelet Volume) is a marker of Platelet volume.
In the absence of any symptoms like bleeding, patechie & presence of normal Platelet count the mentioned value of MPV has no significance.

MPV value has no relation to diet & it's contains.

In general have balanced diet with adequate intake of fruits, green leafy vegetables, protein.
