Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My gyno just told me the results of my HSV test. They were HSV IGM I/II combination 1.05 (equivocal), HSV I IGG 0.91, HSV 2 IGG 0.91. I haven t noticed any symptoms and my doctor told me it s probably a false positive and to get retested. I just don t understand why the IGM results would be so high if I didn t have it. Should I be concerned?
