my ESR is 78 and haemoglobin is 11.5, Gender- F, Age-23, Weight-65, Height-5. i was told that is not a good sign i dont know why the esr is high.i have shifted from a night shift to day job and i have recently started running in the mornings could that be a cause?
There are many possible causes of an elevated ESR. ESR is a non specific marker. A specific cause cannot be determined based on ESR alone.Generally it is followed up with other tests to diagnose medical condition. High ESR also indicates that you have some infection in the body. ESR will come down with control of infection. Hope I have answered your question.
