General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Consult a gynaecologist and get an ultrasound scan to look for any retained bits of tissue after the abortion.

If symptoms persist, minor procedures like D and C (dilation and curettage) has to be done.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
