What Causes Heavy Vaginal Bleeding With Clots After Having Sex?
Hi the other day during sex I started bleeding. When we stopped having sex it became heavier and heavier amounts of blood and huge blood clots. I lost so much blood that I became dizzy and hot. Once it stop it never happens again. I m just spotting now. I didn t experience no pain the whole time. What does this mean?
Bleeding during intercourse can be due to different causes such as: (1) infection (2) trauma but this would have to be severe to cause this much bleeding (3)cervical non cancerous polyps (growths) (4)precancerous or cancer changes to the cervix (5)uterine polyps (6)vaginal dryness
It would be best to see your doctor for an assessment which would include examination of the genitalia. A papsmear, if a recent one has not been done, would be necessary.
A swab , if there is evidence of infection.
Treatment would depend on the cause found.
I hope this helps
