General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

With Hormonal pill mild spotting can be there. For ovarian cyst, Progesterone pill can be prescribed. Kindly mention which drug you have been prescribed.

As you are having heavy bleeding, per speculum examination and transvaginal USG can be done for primary work up. Tranexamic acid tablet can be prescribed temporarily for stoppage of bleeding.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami
