What Causes Heavy Vaginal Bleeding After Taking Emergency Contraceptive Pill?

I had periods on 7th of June last month. then after 7 days I had sex with my husband. Just to be sure I took a next morning emergency contraceptive pill as I dont use regular contraceptive pills. On 25th of June I started bleeding again. It went for 7 days out of which 4 days were heavy bleeding with thick clots of blood coming out. Now again I have periods after only a week on 9th of July. What is happening and what is wrong. I am feeling very weak in body

Heavy and irregular bleeding is an expected side effect of the emergency contraceptive pill. The bleeding will subside in a few days. It is nothing to be worried about.
