What Causes Heavy Menstruation Along With Clots After Removing Mirena IUD?

Had a Mirena IUD removed About six weeks ago. The last three weeks I am experiencing a ver heavy period including passing blood clots several times per day. Is this due to menopause Ora IUD removal? I was experiencing the same symptoms prior to getting the Mirena device 5 years ago. Also I am 54 years old. Thanks.

the symptoms you are telling looks like you are experiencing might be due to a variety of reasons which might also be due to your menopause .Your gynaecologist might advice you to under go some tests before coming to a conclusion like ultrasound of abdomen ,any biopsy might be taken etc.So please speak to your gynaecologist who might advice you better.
